Frequently asked questions
Why is salary sacrifice cheapest?
Because your contractual pay is reduced, you save National Insurance and possibly student loan repayments as well as Income Tax.
Does this include employer contributions?
No. Employer contributions don't affect your take-home pay. Some employers pass on part of their NI saving under salary sacrifice — check with your employer.
Is this a pension projection?
No. This shows the effect on your pay this year only. Pension investments can go down as well as up.
